Emergency First Aid

Description

A short course providing instruction on key life saving techniques. Time for practical exercises is also included. This course is designed to give anyone the confidence to intervene in an emergency situation, wherever it may be, to make the difference to the patient’s chances of survival.

This course is generally delivered at Community Centres or your premises, with the majority of course fees going to Charity. It is therefore an ideal fundraising activity for your organisation. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting a course.

Chain of SurvivalSyllabus

A range of subjects are covered including:

• Assessment of the situation                               • Choking

• Resuscitation                                                     • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty

• Heart Conditions

Duration

This is a classroom-based course of 2.5 guided learning hours.

Certification

A certificate of attendance will be awarded on successful completion of this training.

Numbers

A maximum of 20 students can be accommodated on this course and all learners must be a minimum of 14 years of age.

Course Cost

The cost of the course will be £10 per person. After costs, the remaining money from these courses is donated to charity.
